Privacy Policy
DrinkPro is operated by Paragonwin FZ LLE. The app is designed to work without an account and to keep your drinking history on your device.
Information kept on your device
DrinkPro stores your profile settings, manually entered body information, drink and session history, water and food logs, chosen venues, notification preferences, and saved drink photos in the app’s private storage. This information is not uploaded as an account or synced to a DrinkPro cloud profile.
Drink photo identification
When you explicitly choose to identify a drink from a camera or library photo, DrinkPro sends a resized image to our API at api.drinkpro.app. The API forwards it to OpenRouter and the selected AI model provider to return an identification suggestion. DrinkPro does not intentionally retain the uploaded image on its servers. The app may save a copy locally with the drink log.
Venue suggestions
If you allow location access and request venue suggestions, the app obtains a one-time location while in use. Coordinates and a search radius are sent through our API to Google Places to find nearby venues. DrinkPro does not track location in the background. A venue you confirm, including its name and location, can be stored with your local history.
Security and abuse prevention
DrinkPro uses Apple App Attest to verify genuine app installations. We store a pseudonymous App Attest key identifier, public key, environment, and security counter. We also process IP addresses and short-lived rate-limit counters to protect the API. Authentication challenges expire after approximately five minutes, access tokens after approximately fifteen minutes, and rate-limit counters after no more than twenty-four hours. Basic request metadata may be retained in operational logs for security and troubleshooting; photo contents and location coordinates are redacted from those logs.
Notifications and device permissions
Camera, photo library, location, and notification access are controlled by iOS. You can change these permissions in iOS Settings. Notifications are scheduled on your device. HealthKit is not used in version 0.9.0.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
DrinkPro does not include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or analytics telemetry. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers
We use Apple for App Attest and TestFlight, Google Places for venue suggestions, OpenRouter and its selected model provider for optional drink-photo identification, and Cloudflare for network delivery and protection. These providers process limited information to deliver their services under their own privacy terms.
Deletion and retention
You can delete local DrinkPro data by deleting the app from your iPhone. Short-lived authentication and rate-limit data expires automatically. App Attest device records are retained while needed to secure the service. You may ask us to remove associated server-side security records, although App Attest identifiers are pseudonymous and we may need information from your device to locate the correct record.
Children and alcohol-related content
DrinkPro is intended only for adults who are legally permitted to consume alcohol in their location. It is not directed to children.
